Gaia has been interested in sewing and textiles since they could hold a needle in their hand, combining it with their passion for history and historical clothing to produce costumes and pieces for various school plays and personal projects, debuting their theatre costuming in 2022. Since then, Gaia has worked on multiple scholastic plays including Picnic at Hanging Rock and The Crucible, with Lakespeare and The Q's Macbeth being their first out-of-school theatre costuming project.
